The SunCatcher is a white three-storey build cut into the slope, with rough stone retaining walls holding the garden and lawn stretched flat at the bottom. The pool is rectangular and generous, edged in wide paving with timber loungers and striped cushions along it, and a white masonry braai with its own chimney stands at the water's edge. The ocean sits just past the boundary wall. Higher up, a covered terrace with built-in seating and yellow scatter cushions takes in the whole Camps Bay bowl and the Twelve Apostles, while another with a modular sofa looks down over the pool. Lion's Head rises on the garden side, and there is a basketball hoop on the lawn.
The main level runs as one long room over dark timber floors. The kitchen island carries an induction hob under a big stainless extractor, with a second island for prep and a wall of white cabinetry housing double ovens. A timber bench table sits beside a dusty pink sofa, and a small balcony with a bistro table is one step away for morning coffee.
Downstairs functions almost as a separate flat: a cream corner sofa, a kitchenette with fridge and white units, a table for two, an aquarium set into the wall and sliding doors onto the terrace.
