The pool is split over two levels, the upper spilling across an infinity edge into the lower, mosaic-tiled with a glazed panel set into the pool wall. Stacked-stone cladding, flat white planes and frameless glass balustrades make up the architecture. The Twelve Apostles stand behind and the Atlantic runs out ahead.
Under the roof plane there is a long white table for ten with mesh sling chairs, set against a stacked-stone wall holding a built-in stainless braai and fireplace. Behind the house a walled garden holds a second table in dark slatted timber beneath white-flowering creeper, lit softly once the sun has gone. Between them lie a sun deck of steel-framed loungers and a white cushioned outdoor sofa with a low table for sundowners.
The main lounge is warm rather than austere: pale oak floors, built-in white shelving stacked with books, tan leather armchairs, a cream sofa and a shaggy rug, with the glass pushed back to the west. A snug alongside has leather tub chairs, a wall-mounted television, a black stone fireplace and glazing on the corner so the water stays in the room.
The kitchen island is very long and very white, with a gas hob under a stainless extractor, a professional spring-neck tap and moulded stools down one side, backed by dark gloss units with double ovens. The dining table is glass with white moulded chairs and a mirrored panel behind. Bedrooms open on two sides through sliding glass, one looking over the pool to Lion's Head and the water, an armchair by the window and full-length curtains.
