The pool terrace is the centre of this house: a long rectangular pool between white paving and timber decking, with mesh loungers, cream parasols, a teak dining table and slatted screens where the neighbours come close. White-framed outdoor sofas with charcoal cushions face the water. The Twelve Apostles rise immediately behind; in front there are granite boulders and open ocean. A second deck higher up has pale timber-framed seating and a concrete cube table for watching the swell come in.
Inside is bright and coastal, with whitewashed timber floors, white walls and varnished roof trusses left exposed overhead. One dining table is polished concrete with white moulded chairs under a woven pendant, cane bar stools pulled up to a timber sideboard alongside. A second dining area sits beneath a large rattan pendant by a window onto the garden. The lounge keeps pale linen sofas on jute rugs, with built-in shelving columns, a colourful portrait canvas and sliding glass to the sea-facing terrace.
