A deep covered verandah runs along the house, where a white cast-aluminium table and chairs stand under a climbing creeper on a trellis, potted plants at the base of each column.
A terracotta-tiled terrace on the upper level, enclosed by a white timber balustrade, holds a bistro table and chairs with a long view over the rooftops to the beachfront and open water.
The lounge opens on two sides through sliding glass, onto the verandah on one and the pool on the other. Cream sofas with floral and striped cushions, a timber table and full-length curtains keep it simple and easy to live in. In the evening the sun goes down straight ahead.
